Destination Sitters is a Hotel Child Care Service that’s run by professionals with a combined 50+ years of business experience in a variety of fields (CEOs, entrepreneurs, international trade, government, design & construction, onscreen television personality, sales & marketing, among others) with educations from Harvard University, Stanford MBA, Cambridge University, etc.

Why Destination Sitters?

We spend over eight hours interviewing, background-checking, and preparing each sitter to provide the best quality of care for your children. Hire us & get the peace of mind that 100+ of the finest hotels in the San Diego and Orange County areas have with us. No sitters are referred until all their background-checking and CPR & First Aid certifications are completed !!! Most of our sitters are graduate students (in nursing, international business, economics, etc.) or in college (often pre-med) and have an average age of 22-27. They include school teachers, lifeguards, EMTs, etc. We also have older sitters and sitters for families of children with special needs. All of the sitters whom we refer are also CPR & First Aid certified and are bilingual, with over half a dozen languages represented. Our sitters arrive in uniforms with photo ID tags,age-appropriate games, toys & activities to play and are always at least 15 minutes early so parents can be on time with theirplans and to get parents’special instructions and consents. Book as early as possible to ensure availability, and we “never” charge a late booking fee.
