I founded Destination Sitters, LLC in 2008 with the goal of helping people traveling to San Diego, Orange and Los Angeles Counties hire excellent sitters to help care for their family. An excellent sitter is one who is experienced, secure, dependable, and trustworthy and who loves children. The sitters whom we refer are all that and more.
As a mother of two, I understand how vital it is to match the right person with the right family. Our goal is not only to identify your needs, but to exceed your expectations! I have learned how to do that throughout my career, which has spanned two decades in running successful design, marketing, sales and construction firms. Integrity and high standards always come first. By emphasizing this as well as respect and quality, my team of sitters and I have been highly successful.
In 2008, when my oldest daughter went to college, and my son and I moved to La Jolla, I realized that there was no service offering consistently high quality sitters to help me with my son, and I decided to fill that need myself with Destination Sitters, LLC. My own experience in hiring and firing professional and domestic staffs over the years has helped me understand the need for a prestigious agency to be firmly established in Southern California with a standard second to none. I ran a very successful interior design firm for 23 years, which led to my being published in major magazines, books and newspapers. In addition, I was a featured designer for three years on the highly-praised HGTV television show “Curb Appeal.” Only by consistently emphasizing integrity, respect and quality was such success achieved.
As an entrepreneur, I often had to make sure that my children were properly cared for, and I accepted none but the very best. Our Destination Sitters referrals are the very best, too.
